How long does the tour last?
Most Night Sky Tours experiences last approximately 60–90 minutes, depending on the experience, weather and the night sky conditions. Your exact starting time will be confirmed when your booking is made.
What should I wear?
Evenings in the Karoo can become surprisingly cool, especially during winter. We recommend warm layers, comfortable shoes and a jacket. It is always better to bring an extra layer when spending an evening outdoors under the stars.
What happens if the weather is cloudy?
Astronomy depends on clear skies. If weather conditions are unsuitable for observing, we will do our best to reschedule your experience. If rescheduling is not possible, our weather and cancellation policy will apply.
Is the experience suitable for children?
Absolutely. Night Sky Tours is family-friendly and educational, and children are welcome to explore the night sky alongside adults. Younger children should remain under adult supervision.
